Education & Specialties

Dr. Andrew Evans was born and raised in central Illinois, eventually attending Southern Illinois University, where he earned both his undergraduate and dental degrees. He completed a one-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Internship at Carle Foundation Hospital in Champaign, Illinois, before moving to Delaware to complete his residency at the prestigious Christiana Care Health System, and met his wife, Katharine. 

After marriage, Dr. Evans and his wife chose North Texas as the ideal location to start their family. Now living in the Sherman area, Dr. Evans is enjoying getting to know his neighbors and patients and taking the time to make each patient feel welcome. His special interests as an oral surgeon include dental implants, bone grafting, and wisdom teeth extractions.

Dr. Evans is board-certified by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, having passed a rigorous examination. He is an active member of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, Texas Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the Southwest Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Outside the Office

In his free time, Dr. Evans enjoys hiking, barbecuing, and spending time with his wife and son, Henry. He looks forward to exploring the Texas area more fully as his family finds the time to travel the region.
